Mod Positions
This is an overview of mod positions. If you're interested in modding, do let usknow (by comment to this post, PM, or emailing finalfantasylandmod@gmail.com). Note that the duties of each position is able to be split amongst multiple co-mods so that you're not stuck doing something you're not good at.
Basically, if a community exists, there is a mod position for it. The duties vary from community to community, though.
MAIN MODS FORfinalfantasyland & judge_magisters
Mods:chacusha and lightofeilia
Duties:
• Deciding on and enforcing rules
• Posting points updates and other announcements
• Deciding on schedule and directing other mods
• Handling and addressing member issues and complaints
• Taking care of any work that isn't already accounted for; delegating or reassigning work as needed
STAMPING MOD FORff_classchange
Mod:chacusha
Duties:
• Releasing queued up applications
• Tallying votes and stamping the applications after the stamping period ends
• Awarding stamping points
• Posting reminders
• Following the weekly sorting schedule
TEAM MODS FORcuraga_casters; firaga_casters, treasure_hunters, mythril_swords
Mods: NONE YET!
Duties:
• Keeping the team comm active; building rapport among members
• Promoting team spirit and competitiveness AS WELL AS encouraging harmony between competing teams
• Being a link between individual team members and the mod team
SOCIAL MOD FORmoogle_workshop
Mods:breyzyyin, kuro_pantsu
Duties:
• Maintaining the member directory
• Making posts and running activities in the comm
• Coming up with a tagging system and tagging posts
• Tallying fanworks and awarding points
GAMES MOD FORultima_arena
Mods:chacusha, lightofeilia, glacialphoenix
Duties:
• Brainstorming and posting challenges/minigames on a regular schedule; answering questions about contests
• Collecting entries at the due date and posting voting
• Tallying votes and posting results
• Awarding points to entrants, winners, and banner makers
• Note: You may specialize if you like (e.g. be a mod of icon contests only or fic contests only or minigames only)
Notes
• You may still participate in all offinalfantasyland's activities even if you're a mod! The only exception is that you might not be able to participate in some screened-comment activities (e.g. contests and minigames) if you're able to see the comments and looking at screened comments would give you an advantage.
• You may also take on multiple mod positions if you like!
Applying
Comment here or contact a main mod if there's a position you like. Right now, the places where we have the most needed are the team mods, but if you're interested in a different position, still let us know.
